We are experienced and appropriately trained independent carers who offer a personal domiciliary service to help our clients maintain their independence in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.  We truly believe there's no place like home.

We recognise the importance of consistency and reliability and know through experience that clients benefit from seeing a familiar and trusted face at each visit. This also enables us to notice any changes that may be relevant to a client’s well-being.

We feel it is important to form relationships based on unconditional positive regard. Treating clients with respect and preserving their dignity at all times is at the heart of our values.

We offer a holistic approach to caring, acknowledging the value of emotional support as well as addressing environmental and physical needs.

We understand that being in need of assistance can be difficult to accept. It is not something any of us look forward to.

Added to this, choosing the right care provider can be a daunting prospect. We are here to help you through this process to ensure that the choice you make is right for you.

Since being established in 2018, Familiar Faces has been known for an unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction. It’s this standard of excellence that has provided the impetus for us to grow into the business we are today.

What my clients are saying

For us, the best part about Familiar Faces is building relationships with our customers and making sure they leave happy and satisfied. We’ve included some of their feedback below to give a snapshot of what it’s like to work with us.

"My Mum visits me in the Cotswold's from London. It's great to have Familiar Faces so nearby who were able to provide adhoc help not just ongoing. Kirsty was very attentive with my Mums care, my Mum felt comfortable which put me at ease."

Diane, Shipton Under Wychwood

"We feel lucky to have found Kirsty as our care for Colin. She arrived everyday with a smile, always on time and never minds what she does to help. she is clean, tidy and reliable, helpful and friendly. We couldn't wish for anyone better and are happy to recommend Kirsty."

B & C Pearce, Shipton Under Wychwood

"We are happy to recommend Familiar Faces as excellent carers. In our experience, Kirsty devoted considerable time and effort to our relative and communicated very well with the family. She was always very caring, reliable and punctual and made sure the lady was safe and comfortable."

Sally and Brian, Fifield

"I have nothing but the highest praise for Kirsty.  When my father was becoming frail after a fall and a broken hip, the care and support of Kirsty were second to none. Because of the kind and excellent care, my father had an extra 10 months of very happy life at home.

I didn’t live near to my father, but I was able to relax knowing that everything was being taken care of, Kirsty certainly took the pressure off me!"

We were having trouble finding suitable care for my father, fortunately we were given the Kirsty’s name by a local shop.  It was the best thing to have happened!

I thoroughly recommend Familiar Faces Care in the Cotswolds, you will not be disappointed!

“When my father could no longer care for himself, it was Familiar Faces I turned to so he could retain his independence for as long as possible. The service Kirsty and Baeley provided was caring, sensitive, thorough, professional and discreet and allowed my father to maintain his dignity in the privacy of his own home. Kirsty would be on the phone in the event of any eventuality and this further added to my complete faith in their care of my father. It is my pleasure to write this reference and I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Familiar Faces to anybody else in similar circumstances.

Mr J Reeves-Serby, Banbury, Oxfordshire

Kirsty helped look after my 94 year old mother from April to September 2018. Her duties included helping her in the morning to shower, dress and give her breakfast. Kirsty would return at lunchtime to give her lunch and visit her at night to help her into bed. The only reason this ceased was because I had to engage a full time live in carer.

Kirsty was extremely kind and caring and I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Carol Bennett

Kirsty visited my 69 year old mother during a difficult three month period when she was struggling to look after my father who has Alzheimer's disease. Although Mum had other carers in place some mornings. Kirsty gave her a half hour afternoon visit seven days a week to make sure that she had regular contact and was not completely isolated. Familiar Faces was always polite, professional, friendly and charming, providing kind and concerned conversation and social contact and winning over my mother

who was very resistant to extra input. When my mother went into a local care home for respite care Familiar Faces continued to visit her for a transition period so that we could make sure she was settled and happy and Kirsty kept us updated on a very regular basis with calls or texts to let us know how she was doing, how her mood was etc.

My mother is very fond of Kirsty, however now that she's in a care home and my father has full time live-in care we no longer have a need for Kirsty's services, but we would thoroughly recommend Familiar Faces to other families.

Ruth Wallace

Familiar Faces has been coming to bath my husband for about 6 months. She is a joy to have here and brings a ray of sunshine into the home. Kirsty is very caring and thoughtful and never hurrys Anthony. Kirsty is happy to have suggestions and is always cheerful to my husband. I look forward to my husband needing them more.

Charlotte Wood, Ascot-Under-Wychwood

Kirsty and Baeley cared for my father, Ray, at his home throughout the latter months of his life. It was a very challenging time, made especially so with the pandemic being at its height. I cannot sing my praises of them highly enough. Their dedication, professionalism, kindness, warmth and humour brought real joy to my father. It also gave great peace of mind to our family to know that they would always be there to take care of him at the same time every single day. If you are lucky enough for them to have space in their diary, take it, you won't regret it!

Stuart Crosby

Kirsty and Baeley gave excellent care to our Mum for three years. The dedication to their profession shines through. Always helpful and cheerful, with a friendly chat and a laugh, Mum was very fond of them and they became like members of our family. During Mum's final weeks, the care provided by Kirsty and Baeley exceeded expectations and she was able to remain at home where she wanted to be. We would have no hesitation in recommending Familiar Faces.
