We are experienced and appropriately trained independent carers who offer a personal domiciliary service to help our clients maintain their independence in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. We truly believe there's no place like home.
We recognise the importance of consistency and reliability and know through experience that clients benefit from seeing a familiar and trusted face at each visit. This also enables us to notice any changes that may be relevant to a client’s well-being.
We feel it is important to form relationships based on unconditional positive regard. Treating clients with respect and preserving their dignity at all times is at the heart of our values.
We offer a holistic approach to caring, acknowledging the value of emotional support as well as addressing environmental and physical needs.

FAMILIAR FACES AND COVID 19
Client and relative updates
The spread of the coronavirus and subsequent risk of Covid-19 infection has been unprecedented and posed many challenges to us as a society and Familiar Faces as a Healthcare provider for vulnerable and the elderly.
Familiar Faces are committed to you and your family, we will provide as much support and care as we can within your home environment during this very difficult time and within the restrictions that have been imposed by the Government which aim to keep us all safe and well from the virus.
At Familiar Faces we want to reassure our clients that we are up to date and continue to remain in line with all relevant Covid-19 measures in place in order to operate the care service we provide.
We ask that you:
advise us immediately, if a member of your family/carer become unwell with any symptoms of the Coronavirus, or if they have been in contact with someone diagnosed with Covid-19.
that you bear with us due to the fact we have to wear more protective equipment than normal e.g. masks, visors, aprons and gloves. We understand that this is a challenge barrier for communication but will protect us all and we thank you for your patience.
please wear face coverings when visiting family members and wash hands as often as necessary.
We will:
notify and communicate any changes to you as soon as possible, this applies to any changes in the government policy that may affect our service.
ensure, as far as we are able, when visiting clients we do not pose any further risk to you in transmitting the virus.
